Yeah, you can't do that. That would make it so piraters would rek everything. You buy, then download. Perhaps overnight. It will take time, depending on internet. I let mine download while i was asleep.

How many games have you downloaded with in Steam and paid for them a week later? Seriously?

You don't walk out of a Walmart with a Playstation 4 and tell the store management you will come back maybe in a day or two to pay. World doesn't work like that.

Regarding your question about length, it depends on how you play. My first playthrough was about 40 hours, but some people finish in 10. There is a lot of optional exploration in the game, and attempting to remain undetected will also slow you down.

lol! it would do NOTHING with piracy! its no diff then logging into steam on a friends PC and NOT BEING able to play the games he has downloaded on his PC because you havent purchased them through steam. yet they are still downloaded just no code has been registered through your steam to be able to play it.

when you download something you tansfer data from a cloud to your computer. If you download something it does not matter if steam won't let you play you still have the game on your PC and with some tweaking you can unlock the content and not need to ask steam for permission to use the data that you have downloaded

if you knew someone that already had the files on their computer, you could put them in your steam apps folder, then when you buy it, you can have it look for it or something like that and then that would be that, but that would require you to know someone with it and you to be able to xfer it from them. Also depending on play style game can take a bit, if you try to not get seen, or if you just say screw it and run amok. Or do a lil bit of both. But also if you get the DLC's that puts even more time on there, replayability is pretty decent, I mean i have about 90ish hours on this game. First time through I did High Chaos, killed anyone and everything. Second playthrough I did the No Kill No Detection route, which took alot of f5ing and reloading.
