What's the point in helping Granny Rags over Slackjaw?

Seriously, she just gives you a rune that you can get anyways, and slackjaw gives you tons of money.

You can get more bone charms from granny so you can buy more power upgrades. But little tip, help slackjaw, he comes back into play way latter in the game but the perk of helping him is far supierior to helping granny when that time comes.

I believe you're talking about the Granny/Slackjaw confrontation in mission 7. You're right. Slackjaw's reward is a lot more than if you help Granny. However, when going for certain achievements, the decision becomes much more complicated, that's all.

Yes, if, in mission 2, we had the foresight of knowing that, we'd be more likely to resist the temptation of getting those extra "birthday presents". However, most players going for the trophies can't know it has an impact on what's coming up five missions later.

Okay, guys. I've finished the game just right now. I made the both achievements but the definitive decision was saving Slackjaw 'cause I read this post telling there is more profit later saving Slackjaw and I was curious, but nothing seems happened so, hidding spoilers to those didn't finished can anyone tell me what was supposed to happen? Thanks!!

First time playing, so playing mostly no kill except when I have to. I killed gang members in the first encounter with them when they show up at the door and took the first gift. Have I already gone down her path or can I stop with her now?

Yes, you can stop, killing 3 people wont do any difference
