Is it possible to deliver the letter to lord Shaw, and still have a no kill score in the end? (lady boyle's last party mission)
When you deliver the letter to lord Shaw, it turns out you have to duel with him. I want to finish the game without killing but I also like doing the side missions. Is it possible to do this side mission and still have a non-lethal score?

What Cursed said.

Looks really silly and nonsensical, but it works.

and the guards will just say that he's dead cause they're not paid enough to actually check for a Pulse

That's the beauty of this game. We can open our minds and imaginations, allowing us to discover a wide variety of solutions to many situations. Sometimes, you can really think out of the box, like in mission 5, where there's a way you can kill Lady Boyle without being charged with a kill.

And what's that?

Carry Lady Boyle's unconscious body to the wine cellar and place her near the rat swarm. One bite from a rat and she dies. You'll see the objective message pop up that says you've eliminated Lady Boyle. But, in the end-of-mission stats, you'll not be charged with a kill. Most conclusive when "Didn't Kill Anyone" checkbox is checked. Ya have to admit, that takes some thinking outside the game box. :)

One of the mission targets with a wide variety of solutions (including another example of thinking outside the box) is in mission 2: High Overseer Campbell. While there are a myriad of variations, basically there are five ways to deal with Campbell:
  1. Kill Campbell yourself.
  2. Switch glasses so Campbell is poisoned.
  3. Get Curnow to kill Campbell for you.
  4. Perform the Branding ritual.
  5. Use a game exploit to kill campbell but not be charged with a kill.
The first two will count as a kill in your end of mission stats, however #3, #4 and #5 will not. And all three of those will allow the Clean Hands achievement.

EDIT: Lord Of Darkness reminded me of the fifth solution so, I'm adding it in to this post.

@cybrwiz97

You can also switch the glasses out, follow Campbell and the other dude, and when Campbell is about to backstab the other dude turn the music box off.

This will clue the dude in that something is going on, and he'll defend himself. Possibly killing Campbell for you without dirting your hands.

Since it's so out of the way, the uncle dude even has a clean getaway afterwards.

A cool way of doing it, if you don't mind trusting a bit in lady luck.

Lol. Thanx, Lord Of Darkness. That's the way I usually do it. Can't believe I left that one out. :D But, that method can be 100% successful, if you find the right place to hide. I won't spoil it for you. I'm sure you can find it.

I'll edit that post to include this solution.

just sucks that Weepers count as killing civilians yes i know that they are but my OCD of putting people out of their misery

You could just knock them unconscious then lay them near a rat swarm. Rats kill the weeper and put him/her out of misery without being charged with a kill, satisfying your OCD without a penalty. :)

Good grief, don't touch them. Just sleep dart them and let the rats feast. :D

Funny idea to go at it, but sadly that'll result in a kill: If a NPC you knock/sleep-dart gets killed, it counts as your kill. Doesn't matter if he drowns or gets killed by rats, both will make you lose "clean-hands".

No it will not! naturally spawned rat swarms DO NOT COUNT.
