Im stuck on the lord regent mission how do you do it?

Where exactly are you stuck?

If you're trying for the non-lethal solution, you need to find the Broadcast Station. You'll be told what to do from there. But, if you're just gonna kill the Lord Regent, find him in his 2nd floor bedroom (low chaos) or up in his Safe Room at the top of the tower (high chaos).

i looked at the playthroughs and i need a skeleton key but it wasnt in the wardrobe at lady boyles party

If the target was Esma Boyle, the skeleton key was in her floor chest in her bathroom. There's nothing in her wardrobe. Without that key, the Lord Regent mission is much more difficult but still doable.

Wait what? Since when was there a skeleton key? I've played this game through about 4 times and this is new info to me?

yeah in the boyles mission there is a skeleton key that gets you into every room in dunwall tower (ive finished the mission by the way)

Prior to embarking on mission 5, you're given the assignment of eliminating Lady Boyle, consort to the Lord Regent. When you find the correct Lady Boyle, there will be a note from H.B. (Hiram Burrows) identifying her and the color of her dress. Burrows has given her the skeleton key to Dunwall Tower, which you'll find in her room somewhere. As Intrafex said, it will unlock every locked door inside Dunwall Tower.
