What happens if i sign the guest book in The lady boyle mission?

False. You can still get Ghost.

It does however get commented on later in a report on The Lord Regent's desk, if I recall collectly.

Dorkness is correct. Signing it doesn't do anything else. It's just a "Suck on that, Lord Regent!"

You can ghost it when you run into a man in a mask that 'knows' what you're there for. He will give you a mission that can 'get rid of the boyle' non-lethally

But, did you know, it's possible to NOT complete that mission he gives you, and still get rid of Lady Boyle without Corvo killing her?

I am not quite sure if feeding her to the rats counts as "not killing her" but it still is my favourite method and just feels really satisfying

Yeah, it's kind of a technical call. In this case, I just figured that it was the rats that actually kills her, not me. since we don't get charged with a kill, I guess the game agrees with me. :D
