How do you blink onto a chain?

I am in the Royal Physician mission and cannot blink and grab the chain to the roof. How do you do this with PC controls?

I've tried just blinking to the chain expecting to automatically grab it. I've also tried to grab the chain (F) after the blink, but neither of these actions seems to work.

i don't think that Chain is long enough for you to blink to it even with level 2 you have to go inside

I watch a youtube guy do it. I am standing on the same duct that he was. I also have Blink 2.

You can blink onto the top of the rooftop from the houses opposite btw.

it likely is possible but you're better off just going inside and it is possible to stealth the inside so long as you have Possession so you can make the Overseer move somewhere you can choke him out.

i always go inside so it wouldn't matter either way it's what i do

For that you'll need Blink II. It helps some to have the Void Channel bone charm enabled. Also, try jumping just before you blink to it. It will be even easier if you have Agility I. If you're on the duct I think you're on, you should be able to make it.
