Also why the f would you play this game with a gamepad?
It's just about the worst thing you could do.
Btw that controller support is meant to indiciate that xbox 360 controller fully works with it.
I'm trying not to be a d_head here but that thing is pretty much a joke and this game is terrible with a controller (not just assuming, tried it myself with an xbox 360's controller, the game feels very clunky playing with it) - so if I was you I woulnd't bother to worry about it.
But if you really want to use it, use the program called "XPADDER" - you can use pretty much any controllers with that. What it does is that you can assign mouse and keyboard functions to keys to create a sort of "fake compatibility" - you can make one thumbstick work as a mouse, the other as WASD and so on.
Here is a tutorial and a "showcase" of what it does: (note that it works with pretty much all controllers, not just the xbox controllers like the video states)

Isn't x360ce the same concept as xpadder?
As far as I know. I've never used xpadder though.
x360ce is free. It's not very pretty looking but it works.
I would suggest you get an Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller or PS3 or PS4 controller, they just work better with games than those logitech ones. I'm not sure if the Logitech controller is the same as a playstation controller in that it uses Dinput instead of what most games support which is Xinput that the xbox controller uses by default, but I have used programs like BetterDs3 with motion in joy drivers and have had decent success that way. I don't know if they will work with Logitech though. But those programs are free.
