Just bought the GOTY Edition a few hours ago :D
I'd also like to know what's the difference ~

Definitive edition is the GOTY edition for PS4/X1, it features a slightly enhanced 1080p30 maxed PC settings graphics, and includes all DLCs. In the Dishonored 2 steam store page, the "definitive edition" should mean GOTY edition for PC pre-orders.

In truth tho, if you go to the GOTY page, its one game that just has all the dlc imbedded automatically, if you go to the Enhanced page, its just a bundle that includes the base game, and each DLC.

Definitive edition doesn't even have it's onw store page, it's just a bundle with base game and all dlcs, aka exactly what goty is.

No difference. I bought GOTY two years ago and searching for Definitive shows me that I already own it.

So it's just a 'rebranding' I guess.

kind of misleading to be honest. definitive implies an improved version, but this is simply the base game with all the DLC (it was called the goty edition). a lot of people might feel tricked

I don't have the Dishonored GOTY edition on the store, i do have the dlcs or the definitve edition, wich some people say it's a remastered version, but in my opinion it's a bundle, the game + dlc's

and still no upgrade option for the base game...
Kingodavid Jun 13, 2016 @ 6:45am
yeah! i was hoping some sort of upgrade like they have on Dark Souls 2... but either way that means the definite edition doesn't improve graphics right? so i guess buying the dlcs only should be cheaper! :)
Boomie Jun 13, 2016 @ 6:54am
nope. all dlcs are 30€ and the complete edition is 20€ including all DLCs + base game.
at least for me. thats why i never buy a "day one edition" ever again from bethesda. its just not worth it if you cant even upgrade it later and have to buy the base game again

but maybe on sale they will be cheaper, and did you see the new skyrim remastered? will deffenitlly be sold at 50 euros like a new game -.- basiccly skyrim with an ENB mode sold at 50 x)
