are you supposed to use the switch in the dunwall tower?
Im currently on "return of the tower" mission, im inside the tower, i choked 3 guards and i have an option to use an switch for the screen where the guards talked to the lord, i tried using it but then the lord started talking to me and all the guards were alerted

you can use it but i think it'll be better served in a High Chaos run cause it gives you the option of taking off your mask adds an extra bit of fear into that piece of ♥♥♥♥'s face

You do not have to use it, it is more a gimmick.

A rather cool one, though. As previusly mentioned it breaks your ghost rating, if applicable, but it's a really neat set-peice and you should definatly experience it at least once.

And, in low chaos using it sends Hiram Burrows to his "safe room", high in the tower.

which is why it's best to leave it for a High Chaos run cause in High Chaos he's already up there
I'm not sure what you're asking. I did a few proofreading-error fixes but still couldn't understand this, could you rephrase this better to help with my understanding?

there's a Monitor in the Foyer on the ground level that you can interact with he's asking if it's required to do that
