New Challenge Runs in Dishonored?
So I absolutely love Dishonored and I've just completed my Mostly Flesh and Steel run in which I used blink only in the 3ish places where it is absolutely needed and I had a blast! I've also done Ghost/Clean Hands runs, together and separately, and a high chaos run with no regards for stealth whatsoever. I'm wondering what other fun challenges I can give myself- I've been contemplating a Leave No Trace run and/or a run in which I never use the tyvian chokehold, or a run in which I must find all coins/collectible items. Does anyone have any other ideas for a fun playthrough of the game or any twists I can add to the ideas I already have?

PS: If you're looking for a very tedious task followed by a hilarious, absolutely worth it payoff- hunt down every single empty bottle and glass in The Hound Pits. Every single one. Balance them all carefully on Lord Pendleton's bed, trying to break as few as possible. Then, enjoy the view of Wallace carefully brushing down the bed without moving a single bottle while one of Pendleton's audiographs yells at Wallace to bring more wine. Absolutely beautiful.

NICE, I like that idea.

One of my pasttimes is to eat all the food. ALL the food. They really should have had an achievement for that, honestly. Like, "glutton" or something :D

I'm currently attempting a high chaos run of the DLC in which I have no direct kills and no knockouts. My goal is for all kills to be by summoned assassins, mines, rewired security, etc. I am not using the sword, pistol, or grenades, and I'm only using the wristbow to break things. I don't know whether this is possible or not. I've already accomplished the amusing feat of getting butchers and city watch to kill each other (summoned an assassin to kill a guard, some butchers and city watch came over to investigate, a rat swarm spawned to eat the body, a guard shot at it, accidentally hit a butcher, and they turned hostile to each other).

That is beautiful.

I suspect that the ai coders at Arkane would LOVE to hear that :D

If anyone is interested: I have now finished The Knife of Dunwall under my "no direct kills" rules. I did have to fudge things a bit to kill Billie Lurk. Although I did no direct damage to her, I did use chokedust on her to give my summoned assassins a chance to get a hit on her. After using all my chokedust and two or three assassins, she went down.
It might be possible to do this with only summoned assassins, since they can hit her with wristbow bolts (and they can take more damage than Daud can on max difficulty), but her ranged attack is deadlier than theirs, and there's not much time to summon a new assassin once she takes down the old one. Without stunning her, your probability of death is high.

Kill everyone without using the sword and don't get detected . Crossbow, grenades, powers, anythings else like pushing to the edge is OK. But drop assassinations are no-no. Mostly smooth sailing but some places are really tricky, especially early on and in some Daud's missions. Choking, collecting bodies and blowing them up is a grey zone as it is too cheap. I had to resort to this only once.

I like this idea but, but what about ONLY killing with sword, and ghosting every level? I think I'll do this while using the heart to judge whether someone gets killed or not, unless the situation calls for it anyway.

If you can use bottles/glasses, should be possible without much problem. But it would be against your rules. Only you and the sword. :)

The only slight problem might be with tallboys but should be doable.
