The other two are also very good, I don't like the overarching story as much in the later games, but the new powers are a lot of fun and the levels themselves are a joy to explore. D2 in particular has a couple of real gems in that department. Just finished death of the outsider, and while I didn't really get blown away by any of the levels to the extent I did in D2, the new abilities are really interesting to play around with. In general they both carry the same recommendation: after you've finished the first game in its entirety, if you want more, it's there, and it's good.
