Report a translation problem
The developers working at Arkane are not console programmers. They don't have a team specific to the Switch which is what would be needed.
The User Interface for the switch would have to be completely different, the control schema is not the same as even a different console.
That's not even mentioning that the computing and processing in a Switch is likely extremely different from a PC's, which is what Arkane develops for. The program and code itself would be radically different even though the end result would look the same.
It's like trying to make a microwave dinner in the conventional oven. You might wind up with melted plastic and a house fire, even though they both make food hot.
I used to believe this, until I discovered Binding of Issac and DOOM 2016 is on Switch.
