High Overseer Campbell Ghost problem
Hey gang.

I'm having a real hard time completing my Ghost/Clean Hands/Mostly flesh and steel run with Campbell. Namely the Ghost part. Noone actually sees me, I take them both down at once in the secret chamber (by sleep darting one in the head and choking the other one immediately after firing), but as soon as they walk in on Campbell in the interrogation room after I branded him, they ring the alarm.

Do I have to use a power to get this to work ? Or am I just missing something ?

There is a overseer that walks randomly through the interrogation room as part of his patrol route and he will ring the alarm if he sees Corvo branding Campbell during the cut scene. To avoid the alarm you have to knock out Overseers close to the interrogation room. (Dark Vision may help you see the Overseers close to the interrogation room.)

Or disable the alarms and git gud.

If you follow Martin and campbell into the secret room.
You only need to sleep dart campbell after he draws his sword.
Martin that your supposed to rescue needs to escape and will not attack you in any case.

The alarm won't be set off but it'll still count as you being seen.

I seem to remember doing something like sleep darting Campbell but still being detected.

Disabling an alarm does not count as being seen ... unless you allow a guard to see you.
And sleep darting campbell in the secret room won't either.

You where probably seen somewhere else

I think there's been a slight misunderstanding of wording. I meant that if the alarm is being set off, disabling it won't help because there will still be a guard who saw you and who is now trying to set the alarm off.

I think I sleep darted him in the room with the drinks and Curnow detected me. It was just a mistake that I made in trying to save Curnow. I seem to also remember that I sleep darted Curnow and Callista acted as if he didn't survive.

For curnow to survive he needs to stay awake and walk out of the building before you leave, or he is as good as dead. So sleep darting him or knocking him out is nearly the same as killing him.

I think the best place is in the secret room while curnow is being distracted to look at painting hearing campbell draw his sword then fall down down tells him he was about to die and to get out of there.

If you knock out Curnow you must carry the body to a marked dumpster, or the game acts like he's dead.

Either spill the glasses and follow Campbell and Curnow to the secret room and knock out Campbell and let Curnow escape awake and walk off the lot himself ( you will get a target saved notice as soon as he leaves the map)

b knock out Curnow and carry him to the marked dumpster
