[Spoilers?] How do I light the lighthouse?

I'm at Kingsparrow Island, Low Chaos, and I notice there's a switch and an oil socket for the lighthouse, but I can't find the oil. Is it something for the High Chaos version? Go ahead and spoil if you need to, I don't think I'll be playing through again.

I don't remember lighting the lighthouse to be required. AFAIK, that's just an optional objective, if it even exists as one. However, if you want to light the lighthous, you can find canisters of whale oil within the palace itself. Just be careful with that stuff, it's really volatile.

If you go past the "war room" where Havelock is, past the bathroom he was keeping Emily locked up, and out the back, there's stairs that continue on up. This would be where Havelock would take Emily in the High Chaos version, where he threatens to jump and take her with him if you don't back off. It's the last room right before that last walkway.

I think that socket is for a one floor elevator it's not necessary to take time doing but if you have cleared the way then you should be able to get an oil tank from the last pylon before the main elevator.
