Crashing on Launch

I just reinstalled Dishonored and when I launch it an error comes up and says:

Rendering thread exception:
Fatal error!

Address = 0x1801795c (filename not found) [in C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dishonored\Binaries\win32\binkw32.dll]

This game has worked in the past and I don't know why it isn't working now.

What have you already done to try & fix the game? Vertify game? Restart PC? Checked your GPU drivers?

Had exact same issue, u need to delete all files in the dishonored folder manually (including shaders) then distable online cloud sync, then reinstall

It's been over three years now, but I ran into the exact same problem and tried your solution and I probably messed something up so it didn't work. Can you give me some screenshots to make it clear?
