My high chaos, killed. All other times, spared. Because I like Daud.

Canon is spare, anyway.

Generally spare him, he is a professional ( in an immoral profession granted) but he was doing his job and now feels remorse. Burrows is the Evil one here.

I like him so I tend to spare him. (What I've always found a little ironic is that he is the only one that expresses remorse (the DLCs go more into that). Burrows that hired him, Campbell an the others that are supposed to be in the "upstanding" part of society show no remorse over hiring him to kill the empress, but Daud who has been in the criminal underworld for who knows how long does have actual remorse after he does his job and kills her.)

No one kills Daud. He is like the 2nd best char in the entire game.

I pretty much always spare him, it makes sense with the canon, he is a cool character and he saved Emily so ♥♥♥♥ yeah. I Daudn't killed him.

I like your thinking

Me, with meta-narrative knowledge: spare him. he has a redemption arc I can actually buy, so I believe him when he says he means no one else harm and just wants to fade into the background, and I think the people near him might actually be better rather than worse off if he continues to live.

Me as Corvo, who only knows his face as associated with the death of one of my two reasons to live, who is still causing her distress in her place beyond the grave: MURDERMURDERMURDER

It makes no sense in the lore to kill him, but then again neither does anything you do in Dishonored 1, like letting Emily die in the last mission just to see her fully grown-up in the sequel.

I spare him if I want to do clean hands, but otherwise I always kill him like he's a normal main target considering Corvo just saw him murdering his wife and kidnap his daughter

Huh, how did I miss that? So the empress is Corvo's wife and Emily is your daughter? Why does she refer to you as Corvo?

..... If you haven't played the sequel, it's not expressly stated, but if you run a low-chaos Dishonored 1, and save her, the Outsider does pretty much indicate "[corvo] was more than just a protector".

The empress, however, was NOT Corvo's wife. He was her consort and lover at best, it would be impossible for him to actually have married her - he wasn't nobility.

Also in a low-chaos run after saving emily, she will draw you and she will write on it "Daddy"
