High Chaos vs Low Chaos: Small Differences
Hi guys, I've noticed some small differences in high vs low chaos. Other than the obvious changes, such as Lord Regent moving to his roof top safe room and the survivor camp in the sewers turning into weeper camps, I've noticed two small differences that you guys might have missed.

1. After you come back from dealing with Lord Regent, you can overhear Martin talking with Callista about Emily's education. On low chaos, the subject will be the sciences, such as astronomy, advanced mathematics and such. On high chaos, the subject will be religious, such as the seven scriptures and such, with Martin calling Emily a spoiled child.

2. After you return from the sewers, there is a painting that Emily made for you in your bedroom. On low chaos, it will be you. On high chaos, it will be your mask.

There's also the wanted posters and small things like that. On low chaos the wanted posters are unknown but on high they are your mask.

These are why I love this game. The small details that happen as consequence to your actions.

If i'm not mistaken, rats and weepers are also a lot more numerous later on in high-chaos runs than they are in low-chaos.

Rats and weepers are a lot more numerous later on in high chaos. There are larger swarms of rats, and both rats and weepers in places where they aren't in low chaos.

Those are the more obvious changes. We were pointing out the subtler ones such as wanted posters and interaction with NPCs at the Hound Pits

Another thing is that in the sewer level, there is a path blocked by wooden planks. Down the road there is a weeper camp. On low chaos they will be regular weepers, but on high chaos they will be the swarm weepers who damage you if you are close to them.

It doesn't really have anything to do with low or high chaos because you can the result in either way of playing, but I just wanna mention that if you deal non-lethally with Campbell in the second mission by branding him, he will re-appear in the 7th mission where you retrieve your gear from that abandoned whalers' tower. He'll be down there next to your gear, wearing the same red clothes as before and with his mark, as well as a last note of his

Then there's Emily's attitude when Corvo returns from Dunwal Tower.

Low chaos - "Everyone says you did something good tonight."

High chaos - "Did you kill anybody tonight? How many?

But is it true that there are more guards on low chaos? as they are only sleeping so they gather more guards but high chaos there are less? i dunno it seems that way when i played low chaos in brigmore witches as some of the witches "respawned" even tho i took em out and just in general way more witches

No. The number of guards doesn't vary with chaos. In some missions there will be certain areas where replacement guards will spawn, after taking out the initial group of three or four. That'll happen when you clear an area, leave and return later. The only things that change are number of weepers and rats, when in high chaos.

In the Brigmore Witches, there are only a couple places where one replacement witch will spawn but, as with the base game, the number of witches does not change with chaos.
