Documents\My Games\Dishonored
So let's say rename the Dishonored folder to _oldDishonored
The game will automatically re-generate it.
I also added -nostartupmovies to the startup options.
-Open Razer Synapse
-Select your headphone
-Go to Mixer (4th tab along the top)
-Open Dishonored
-Wait for Dishonored.exe to appear in mixer
-Unmute it
And if you don't mind, make sure that your headphones are set as the default audio device within Windows.
To do that open up notepad, put this in it:
TASKKILL /f /im ManOWar71Helper.exe
Go on File, Save as, change the "Text document" to "All files" and name it something like:
Run Before Dishonored.bat
And for the other way around, to start it easily once you're finished:
START "C:\Program Files (x86)\Razer\Razer_ManOWar71_Driver\Drivers\SysAudio\ManOWar71Helper.exe"
Go on File, Save as, change the "Text document" to "All files" and name it something like:
Run After Dishonored.bat
This way you could have two convinient "shortcuts" on your desktop which will either kill or start the process - saving you the effort of having to tamper with the task manager every time you try to play DIshonored or stopped playing it.
PS: Many people hate Razer synapse and it's not necessary to install it, however it could help in such cases (but it could also make things worse).
I disabled it from startup since I don't really use the 7.1 Emulation.
I wonder if it would be useful to have an application that runs in the taskbar where you could easily start/stop proccess you manually add. Could even add a context menu so you could find the .exe and easily add it with a right click.
Probably wouldn't take long in a language like VB or AutoIT, (could also C# it but it then you would need .NET).
If you think that would be a useful tool, let me know. I will try to find some time to code it.
Take care & thanks again! I would have never thought of renaming the config directory!
Try to manually set your Audio mode to be Stereo - when mine was set to Auto or 5.1, sound would not work.
