Dishonored
Killing Weepers is High Chaos. Really???
I mean, they're suffering and I'm putting them out of their misery. Why does killing weepers count towards high chaos. I'm to just leave them to die a slow, agonizing death? That makes no sense.

Well, chaos is measured by how many deaths you cause, so killing them would increase your chaos. If all else fails, just remember that it's a videogame where you are a magical assassin on a quest to avenge your Empress/Wife's death caused by other magical assassins.

The result of a low chaos gameplay is the cure of the plague , hence why the game considers it to be morally wrong to kill humans, even if they're sick.

And the Low Chaos ending does show Piero and Sokolov working together to finally cure the rat plague once and for all. It also shows them applying the cure to weepers. So, problem answered.

Oh, I don't care about spoilers and shizz. Suits them right for questioning the workings of a great game's logic.

Weepers are creepy as ♥♥♥♥. Like zombies.

That's the idea behind them. They have a little more depth than simple gun/crossbow/blade fodder, though.

It's not the weepers that scare me, its the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs that constantly fly around them and damage you before you can even get close... Eww...

According to Dishonored 2, these "bloodflies" actually nest inside the bodies of Weepers both dead and alive and then they erupt to sting or bite others. Watching that ♥♥♥♥ will leave your skin crawling. *shudders*

Ok, yeah. Meanwhile, while Sokolov and Piero work on the cure I'll just leave the weepers alone to sort through refuse, vomit brown ♥♥♥♥, and attack the next Dunwall resident who wanders too close to them. :P
BTW, I love this game. One of my favs. But every good game has an aspect of it that annoys somebody a little bit. And for Dishonored, it's this. :P

well they are cureable, so you are killing a person, because they can be cured if you do low chaos

they aren't called Weepers in Dishonored 2 they're called Nest Keepers

Well, it's like killing everyone with cancer, if you put it into our world, because we don't have a cure yet.
