S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky

How do I reduce the player damage? (God mode) through the game files?
I reached the part with the Scientist and all the zombies, the base is overrun by zombies and I'm dying constantly due to the firearm damage being stupidly high and I've got hardly any ammo and a ♥♥♥♥ gun that continuously jams (I'm playing on the lowest difficulty).

I looked through the game files to see if I could change the files, but they were far too complicated. Google Searching has gotten me nowhere and I can't complete the game. Can Someone please help me out by sending me a modified file that gives me no player damage?

Assistance would be beneficial and well appreciated.

I think there's no way doing that. Download a mod, I think.
I've already tried looking online for mods, I still came up empty handed.

Are you using the collection pack or normal per-bought games?
It should be possible to change the player damage, otherwise it would remain outside of the game's coding, therefore it wouldn't exist.
I bought it on Steam and did nothing other than play the game.

If you did bought from collection, you could use Console. But, I guess you bought it per-game. So, Idk. Try using g_god on in-game

you could try using cheat engine, but that would require knowing the exact amount of health (in numbers) you have

by default the files that allow editing stuff like health or weight limits are not avaliable unless you unpack the game files. but if you download some kind of mod that doesnt change too much, it will most likely have the file that you need to edit (actor.ltx if i recall correctly)

Use AXR Toolset to unpack game files, look for the outfits.ltx files, and change the resistances of whatever you're using to insanely high levels. Just be aware that these changes will be global so if you are using a common suit other NPCs will get these bonuses.

Alternatively you can modify the weapon and ammo damage but again, changes are global. Also you'd have to edit far more weapons and ammo to account for all the different loadouts NPCs can have.

For a pure godmode, try looking for actor.ltx and changing the health regen or damage resistance coefficients to absurdly high levels.

You can simply use the "value changed" function and damage, then scan again to find it without knowing the initial value.

Note that you don't technically need to unpack the game files if you're savvy. Creating a folder named gamedata well allow you to override even packed files with whatever you put in it, as long as it is in the right order. Most mods don't bother actually changing the packed .DB files and just override them with gamedata instead.

The reason I said you have to be savvy, is that you need to know the right folder pathing and create your own files (some can be found and downloaded online, such as actor.ltx)
Thanks, I'll see what I can do.

Load a pre yantar save and play better? God mode ruins games, mostly.

*Ruins your subjective experience of games.

If someone wants to have fun being immortal, and they're also not affecting other's experiences, no reason to not let them.

at this point you should be having a vantar (upgrade as a sniper and only use armor penetration ammo, if you need cash just go farm the military and sell the guns to clear sky, they paid big cash for guns above ak tier)
