Serious fps drops when returning to the village at night?

Does anyone else get serious fps drops when returning to the village at night in the rain? The rest of the game i have 60+ fps but only at this place do i get sub 40, sometimes down to 20.

Changing graphic settings does nothing to change the fps drop which leads me to believe it's some sort of bug.

Anyone else experience this?

This is common. That's the hardest hitting area of the game.

That section, and the castle hedgemaze full of dogs were the chuggiest part of the game, I assume due to all the rain and dog fur in the former, and alllll the dog fur and foliage in the latter.

yea, they should fix those areas. i am on my 7th playthrough and it gets more and more annoying which is sad because the village is one of my favorite areas. :(

see thats what i thought at first also but theres other parts of the game that have way more going on and in that area changing my graphic settings does nothing to effect the frame rate.

Have you tried deactivating RT ??, in this game it is broken, it contributes almost nothing and in certain areas it produces drastic frame drops in addition to artifacts in certain areas, I am on ps5 and it also happens, although the drops are minor (maybe up to 50 frames), but the problem is there and needs to be patched as soon as possible.

Turn off ray tracing, that got rid of the lag for me.
