I'm pretty sure it's a pistol thing. (Actually I'm not, I know nothing about guns. But hey. Hope it helped!)
AR is basically a M4 rifle, and Stingray is a H&K SL8 rifle. Both function the same way concerning the firing sequence, as in one bullet is loaded into the chamber before you actually fire it. There are various videos on YT that show the insides and how every detail works, so look them up if you're interested.

But it sure would be very interesting if the Stingray had this benefit. RE4 restricted this to handguns only unfortunately.
