The most annoying part of this game

All of the exaggerated PANTING Ashley does as she walks. All of the characters huff and puff and moan all the time like they're having painful sex and it's really annoying, but Ashley is the worst. Why did they do this?

I find it only annoying when she's on a tight leash. If you let her loose by pressing CTRL she doesn't do it or you don't hear it as much.

Why ? because they wanted her to be out of breath after a sprint but were too lazy to make her walk behind you , she always make some short sprinting burst then stop repeat then stop no walking at all from what i could tell , so the game plays her out of breath audio all the time as a results , and if you are running all the time then yeah she will also obviously do it.

leon's grunt when entering aim
constant moaning at intense weather

the aim one is weirdest to me

I just assumed it's because they're infected with Las Plagas and it's taking a toll on them. Leon doesn't smoke, but he sure huffs and puffs like he has smoker's lung.

That's a good point, I do keep her on close follow mode. I reckon you're right, if I switched her to the other option she wouldn't be grunting in my ear all the time.

Capcom just wanted to make more Realism when a character in the remake is doing actions over and over again, the implications that comes with those actions is this. It's called Adding Realism.
