I think it's more so an easter egg, there was a better view of the two pictures when the camera was behind him, but I highly doubt they would remake re5 over code veronica and maybe re0 or re1, and I hope they don't remake re5, holds up amazingly, might as well remake re7 at that point

They have to remake 5 and 6. If someone wants to start playing Resident Evil, it would be unpleasant to suddenly jump from a modern, refined RE4 to games stuck in 2009 and 2012. No one wants to spam QTEs that don't work 99% of the time.
