are there spiders or any other insects in the game?

Technically an insect I think, but there's definitely gross, creepy, crawlies in this. It's basically, what if you made the face hugger from Alien look way larger and more terrifying lol

No actual spiders but there is an arachnid very fast scorpion-ish like enemy that you will see a lot once you get to the castle. Also a lot of flying giant beetle enemies.

It may be an odd suggestion, but face your fears. Especially in a video game. The more you're exposed to your fears in a safe setting, the better you are able to handle them.

Kinda, its a flying beetle/insect. You can one shot it even on hardcore to the eyes, there's also the infector I'm not sure if that would count it looks kinda spider-ish, it attacks other zombies to enhance them

there are plaga that behave and kind of look like spiders. i recommend doing an enemy search to see for yourself.
