You sold Kinguin those duplicate keys.
See, that statement has just as much weight as yours, and yet it is most likely false (I hope? ^^ )
So, indeed, beware ;)
A key seller, among GMG and others.
I have been using their services for years for about a third of the games I buy, never had any issue.
I only ever buy games on Steam, I don't trust 3rd party sellers. Also you can't refund games and get your money back unless you buy direct from Valve.
And just as with each key selling site, there is a refund policy for these issues, that works.
But it is so much better to make a thread on Steam about it rather than trying to solve the issue ;)
I think you remember "Pingu" ;)
I mean its a well known thing kinguin has stolen keys for sale.
Kinguin is a market place mostly for PEOPLE as in you and I, to sell keys. WIth that comes a lot of stolen keys.
And by a lot, I mean likely not super common, but more than it should be :^).
The proof you need, just google how the market works there.
Its why when I buy from 3rd parties I just go for like GMG, something thats legit and the companies of the game them selves or publishers sell the keys to GMG.
The one time I purchased from a place where its more of a market place of randos. I had to put in a phonenumber to purchase, but they charged me the 110 USD before I did. So decided "im never going to a place where randos can sell keys again".
Plus I dont wanna be responsible for buying a stolen key.
GMG is supposed to be a legit key reseller. Kinguin, CDkeys, Allkeyshop an such where you buy keys Ebay style from random people however. Those are unofficial so you never know what your going to get.
And I buy my games for over 10 years now from there.
Steam is too overpriced, I can´t understand ppl if they buy old games for 30 euro if you can get them for 4 euro or in a normal market for 7.
Of course, because Valve didn't sell it, so why would they refund it?
But these sites have a refund policy, some are bnetter than others, Kinguin is not a "bad student" here.
Let's get real, you really think your -40% key on release day is 100% legit? ^^
All these keys are grey, some are darker than others, none are "spot-free", even those on GMG . "All our keys are official" but we somehow sell those for half the price.........
Define "stolen keys" first, then debate it ;)
