Grab evade?

Are the grabs completely broken? can't parry nor evade them? i tried parrying and crouching both does not work.

You can probably evade them, there are some occasions where I button mash space or and a movement key and Leon does a dodge thingy (or he looks like he stumbles) and avoids the grab, still figuring out whether that's a feature though lol

Ive seen people crouch to evade grabs in recent vids

If it's an enemy with a snapped neck and the parasite is making them go faster you just gotta run, but if they aren't in the 'broken neck, crazy running' state you just crouch.

i'm playing on hardcore, i tried to evade the grab in every possible way, crouch just does not work i dont know why maybe cause of the difficult setting?

I tried crouching early i tried when they're close and about to grab me , hell i even tried staying crouch they keep grabbing me and the only way is to headshot, on hardcore in a crowded place this is really tough .

try shift, sprint. It seems to work for me

Shift sprint look like the most optimal, duck cannot evade all grab but honestly ready your shotgun.
