Does anyone have issues with how dark it is?
Every time I even get close to a shadow/dark patch even while everything else around that patch is not that dark it just suddenly go "Now you are blind" kind of dark, I entered a little hut while there was light outside and suddenly everything outside of the hut was pitch black, is there a way to disable or do something about this?

Thank you good sir, I didn't even think that would be so simple to fix, there's a big difference ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, there was a black hole in the middle of the village with SSAO even tho there was light everywhere, changed it and now its 10/10

Im having the same problem but cant find SSAO, where is it in the settings?

No issue here with SSAO. Make proper use of the brightness calibration within the display settings tab. Also, make sure color space is set accordingly with your display/system specs.

I did that and some shadows just become pitch darkness that nothing cuts through, even changing the brightness changed nothing.

Install Reshade and customize it to your liking

Yes, the redid the color riming from the demo. The blacks are way too crushed. No amount of screwing around will fix it.

Nope and am in Oled TV
Dead space was a bit more annoying I'd say, weirdly some parts of final fantasy 7 remake as well.

It's under "Ambient Occlusion" I switched it to "Off" from "SSAO" and the game looks amazing, no more random shadows in the middle of nowhere. I'm not sure why its happening.

I had this happen everywhere and if you entered the spot everything went super dark.

After changing the settings it looked like this

I'd recommend using reshade. Worth googling if you don't know what it is, there's a "fake hdr" preset that when tweaked really brightens up and brings out the best in the game's visuals.

It is a bit dark playing with "correct" brightness, yes.
