Actually, yes. Every single thing in OG is award worthy.
But ashley's voice was annoying, high pitched, and sounded more like Sandy Cheeks. Best thing you could say about the performance is she sounded like a squealy teenager instead of sounding like a squealy kid... even though the character was supposed to be 20 and in college. So whoever the ADR director who made that choice is a tool. Or that's just an artefact of Ashley's age changing later in development. Either way, not so award worthy. And I don't know if the Spanish lines from the villagers were anything to write home about in the original either. They didn't really have accents from Spain even if they spoke Spanish well enough.
Imo Ashley is supposed (and intended) to be an annoying character in OG. It was part of the charm for me. When it comes to that part, OG beats remake by quite a large bit for me. Spanish sure, i heard they only had latin american voice actors to choose from, as no spanish ones were found at the time.
DC Douglas not returning as Wesker is unforgivable.
If these things did happen, everyone can say goodbye to his Wesker role forever.
Personally i hate both looks and voice of the new Krauser. Honestly surprised most ppl seem to disregard this new version.
Of course. But the Ada part is heavily overdone to the extreme.
That's why i will be picky of the SH2 remake.
