Woke content?

I'm hesitant on buying anymore remakes ever since Dead Space because of forced woke content like...
#1 bathroom signs with 3 genders on them.
#2 Jacob Temple casually letting us know his sex preferences while everyone around him is being ripped apart.
#3 None binary engineer that goes by they/them
#4 Every female has been aged up and given a reduction mammaplasty.
#5 Race swapping for diversity points

so my question is did they add any woke s*** to this remake?

Only thing more annoying than actual "woke" content are the whiny manchildren ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it on every single new game that comes out.

There is no woke content in this game. You can purchase it safely.

But there are some differences between this one and the original, they changed the visuals of some of the characters and they changed some of the dialogues, but only for the better in my opinion. The game is more "serious" now, and there are less B Movie dialogues.

It's Japanese produced so it's not clownshow woke. Like the past 2 remakes though it has gone through a modern censorship filter. Most noticeable they seem to have aged up Ashley, removed the "fan service" panty shot, and yes gave her a breast reduction mammaplasty.

Probably the bigger goof up though was affirmative action hiring an Asian woman to voice Ada Wong who had no talent, and give a dead pan performance so bad it really sticks out.

All in all though relatively minor levels of woke by modern standards.

They made Ashley more fitting to what you would think a President's daughter (in a universe where America didn't have goofy asf Presidents) would be like, I don't see how that's censorship whatsoever. You have to remember this is a remake, not a remaster so just because they changed something doesn't mean it was "censorship".

and I can't believe I have to say this but because you coomers are so focused on it, if you look at remake jacketless ashley next to og re4 ashley the "breast size" is almost identical if not bigger in the remake.

- Ashley was censored into wearing a skort, an item of clothing no one in the real world has ever worn.
- Ada's dress was replaced by something covering everything (it's a good costume but the OG is superior)
- several lines were cut, notably no mention of ballistics, Ashely calling you a pervert, or leon saying "women" in response to Ada
- female with the pitchfork through the face in the beginning (no sex discrimination) is removed
- the tension between Leon and Ada has all but been removed, they act almost like they hate eachother now
- Krauser is no longer shirtless

It's still a solid title (best of the REmakes in my opinion), but there's been a lot altered/removed from it with many I haven't mentioned as they didn't really fit what you were asking for. I'd still reccomend playing it but if the missing content is an issue then wait for a price reduction (I pre-ordered it on discount for this very reason)

Yeah it's good and not pozzed.
Only thing they really changed is some lore, removed / changed a few enemies like Salazar and some people are angry you can't have Ashley upskirt shots anymore.
Leon isn't black.
Ashley is still female.

This makes more sense than OG RE4 (then again I didn't play OG RE2) since at the end of RE2R Leon realizes/finds out Ada is not really FBI and was just using Leon to get the G sample and then she continues to "fake" her own death, not really a censor and if anything it's just readjusting for the RE2 remake.
