Will they remake RE5 and 6 as well?

I mean aside from the standing still while shooting, RE5 still holds up pretty well graphically and gameplay wise, aside from the cartoonish story with wesker being uber villain and doing matrix moves and oh well RE6 went obscure nowadays.

I wasn't sure if they'd make the 4th edition since it was good enough on it's on but here we are.

Will they remake it? Probably.
Should they remake it? Why not, if it adds more content to the 5th edition.

And perhaps, they can set things straight with the 6th one.
Make it more memorable than it was.

Yeah I forgot the boulder punching in RE5 which created a meme. As an action game that one still holds up pretty well but it seems capcom went a more serious route nowadays with its remakes. In all fairness even with its sillyness RE4 still had a dark edge to it and seemed more serious than 5 and 6. 5 has some fine action co-op arcade style gameplay as for 6 its so bizarre i kinda forgot what was going on in that game.

Please be sure to remark 5 and 6 and change the plot. No one doesn't support the view that wesker doesn't fit his character in resident evil 5!!!!!

They should remake Code Veronica in the style of RE2 Remake. They've done enough action games with RE3 and RE4 remakes.

It probably depends what capcoms strategy with resident evil is going forward. On one hand, those games don't have the nostalgia behind them like the others, on the other hand, that could actually be an advantage for potential remakes of them because fans might feel like they're redeeming those games. Hard to say, we can only wait and see.

I honestly think its possible at this point that all re titles will be remade on the Re: Engine. Just why not at this point. Its Capcoms highest selling series now.

Even if Capcom decides to re-write the story a bit and make it more serious, I still want them preserving this Wesker and a boulder punching scene. At this point, this stuff it too legendary (and memeable) to just throw away. It'd be like taking away roundhouse kicks from Leon.

There has been years and years of talk about a remake for RE4. So much that Capcom finally said okay okay I'll do it. Add the fact that it is considered the best RE game ever made by many people. Not to mention they already remade RE2 and RE3 and they were very popular in the franchise as well. So RE4 remake was a thing that people knew was going to happen eventually, and very much expected.
