Any reason why the sledgehammer and stonebreaker upgrades keep getting reset after a death?
Everytime I die, I go to the upgrades to check for any new upgrades, and I keep noticing that even though I bought these upgrades the last time I died, they are back again. Are these upgrades not permanent but all the other upgrades are?

the Hammer has to be equipped at all times (its the signature weapon of the red faction game series), you can only change the other 3

edit: oh wait you mean upgrades nevermind.

The upgrade is permanent, but you can "downgrade" back to the earlier versions. (I have no idea why you would want to do this...) If you notice, the price for the earlier versions is LOWER than what you paid for the upgrade. This is very confusing, and had me scratching my head for a while, too. If anyone knows why you would ever want to downgrade the sledgehammer, let me know!

Pretty sure they don't do anymore damage or have longer range.
The only one that might be better is the cheated version which btw is "GOLDBREAKER" If my memory serves.

But you could always look on Cheatcc or something.
Bassicly they are just there for the looks :3
Stonebreaker and shattermaster DO do more damage. It's just that it doesn't matter when whacking buildings or people, does it?

It's faster at breaking vehicles though, which is nice. Gotta smash that EDF crap for scrap!

Shattermaster damage is too high though. Sometimes you'll be trying to get a car to go on fire so you can run away while it blows up, shattermaster can take a car from smoke to explosion in one hit, which is no good.

Go to stonebreaker and keep it that way.
