-Download the files
-Unpack to /Steam/SteamApps/Common/Red Faction install folder.
-Start the game using rfg_launcher.exe
- Play AND save ur game on the run!

NOTE:... GFWL IS DISABLED !!!

I read it I tried it and it failed , you can't rename a file and then download it to the game without it putting a 2 in brackets and when I tried to run it with the Red Faction rfg.exe it would not run.
Some of us need it spelled out one step at a time and some seem to know what to do. But this thing is confusing , it's for GTA IV? I was referring to the Xlive.dll file and the Xlive_d.dll files

You didn't solve it , sorry. I have windows 7 some have windows 8 your fix is for Vista and XP and it is for Grand Theft Auto IV. it is also not easy to decipher a fix from one game to another unless it is translated and the GTAIV reference is not included. this is just lazy.

YOU neglected to say to remove the old marketplace and GFWL client from the program file and to create a new account you lazy tool

Games for windows marketplace is showing only games I purchased in the Marketplace not games I purchased on Steam like Dawn of War 2 or the Chaos sequel, or a host of other games i bought on Steam and certainly not Red Faction. does anyone know how to print instrucitons on how to fix each of these games without simply putting a fraction of a clue?

Looks like I'm having the same problems as buzz. I even tried dl the client and that doesn't even work.
