번역 관련 문제 보고
Its got quite a few problems, but it probably comes closer than any other mod(Maybe even star trek borg race) to completely changing how sins plays. this is simply because of their battle system consisting of phase 1(A heavy attack, MACs and Plasma Torpedos) and Phase 2(Archers/guns, pulse lasers).
Most early game UNSC ships will die in 1 hit from a covenant phase 1 attack.
Basically, battles tend to be pretty fast, andemphesize different things than vanilla sins.
I will say it definitly captures the feel of Halo extremely well. the battles are some of the most impressive looking things Ive seen and everything fits well with Halo Canon.
I will say that so far as UNSC, my games all seem to go 1 direction. Very slowly loosing to the covenant, loosing planet after planet over the course of a few hours, before finially reaching my production planet(Reach, obviously) where I likely end up effectivly loosing all hope of winning the war. Its actually extremely authentic.
Still, some problems hold it back, and one of which is balancing on some abilities and such.
Also, Flood is the most OP thing Ive ever seen. Its basically a time limit if you have them turned on. I don't think a game has ever gone over 40 minutes before flood have completely overrun the galaxy. Basically, I recomend turning them off unless your just in it to see them.
Ok, so that about covers it. its pretty unique as far as mods go, especially if your into halo lore. no reason not to try it, its not like your paying.
Also, has anyone found a counter to the flood yet? Im thinking lots of antifighter corvettes and alot of fighters since they cant be taken over, but in that situation if a carrior gets infected then any fleet near it is forfeit. so maby just lots of frigates and antifighter ships?
Even a single flood ship can dessimate a fleet if its in a bad position.
Like I said, very authentic.
to a bigger ship. Like others said really authentic where the flood is something that will make you piss your pants and the covies have the advantage but with the new research options for the UNSC(Oni or UNSC your pick and it locks the other ) it will def give the unsc some more choices for fighting to covies head on though I fear Flood infected Infinty or CAS Assulat carrier. I have one real downside is no one plays it since Halo is console only so its pretty rare to find games running it :/
Their ship design for UNSC is fantastic aside from the prowlers, which seem to be based on the description of them in the book Fall of Reach than on the actual model shown in the animated series. its a minor complaint.
Also the covy models need a bit of work. especially(Forgot the name) the ship that is basically a tiny CCS Class.
Cant wait for Titan classes to be added(That would be infinity hopefully).
Also I do know the Themoply is not the Infinty. I was simply stating its gonna be terrifying when a Flood gets a hold of the Infinty a CAS is bad enough imagine it has a MAC.
Captain of Charon class Frigate "What do you mean the flood caputred the infinity tha. *sees flood infected infinity* sweet mother o*infinity rams the frigate*
PS it may have been by luck i done that so if it does not work then im sorry to bother you and waste your time
This is the tactic I used with nothing more than 4 frigates, 2 cruisers and a Phoenix Assault ship. And the flood spores were roughly in the mid 150s with the additional 20 plus or minus 10 flood carriers.
