Sins of a Galactic Empire: units stop auto attacking
As the title says, I ran into an issue with my units when they enter a gravity well. They either stop moving after they enter or they follow the fleet leader, but don't attack. They just sit there and look menacingly as the capital ships do all the work. I did try turning auto attack on and off, adjusting the attack range settings, and having them leave the fleet or system and having them rejoin. So far nothing as worked and I don't know what to do at this time. I know this mod is old and not being actively worked on.

I can see looking at the Moddb page that this mod has multiple issues even when it released back in 2017 too. Pretty sure it has a lot of extra errors with the current version of Sins as well based on last time I played, it may be simply in need of fixing by the mod author.

As it's last update was in 2017, 7 years ago for v1.90 of Sins whilst we're on 1.94 now, you're probably better off playing one of the other SW mods as the author has likely long since moved on.

Alternatives I'd suggest trying out are:
Star Wars: Interregnum
Star Wars: Thrawn's Revenge II: Ascendancy
Star Wars - Alliance

Roughly in the order I'd personally rate their quality.

Does it completely ruin and devestate the UI like Ascendancy and Alliance do? Cuz I like the normal UI.
