How to install Star Trek Armada III into Steam Rebellion game

Hi, I bought SINS on Steam just to play with the Star Trek Armada III mod. I can't seem to get it going. How do I work it with my Steam version. Thanks so much.

Mods are compatible. You just need to ensure you DO NOT enable LAA.

So if I had laa active before the update. Do I need to deactivate it somehow?

The update should have disabled LAA, but if you want to disable it, validate the game cache for Sins.

To do that, right click the game in your steam library, click properties, go across to 'local files' (or something like that), and click "Verify Integrity of Game Files

Is this now compatible with version 1.93? I've not found any instructions for this version specifically on moddb and I cannot get the mod to run at all.
