I can`t get the Star Trek armada to keep working.
I love the mod and really don`t want to play the game without it. But When opening the game I get these srro messages that allow you to break or skiip.I skip them and get it working for a bit,but then it starts freezing in game and I hit esc and it plaus again but keeps getting worse until its frozen. The error messages are there when I freezes in game,I just have to minimize the game to see them and close them. But alas I give up. I have tried installing in many folders, not just the 1.85 dev folder the mod path leads to.And I have tried all the mod settings in properties in steam as well. The only one that works obviously is no mods on in properties which is the default 1.85.

Have you enabled the LAA patch?

Yes if you mean for more than 2mb of memory

Alright, where exactly did you install the mod to? The correct path should be something like (My Documents>My Games>IronClad Games>Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion>Mods-Rebellion v1.85) you would install the mod in the mods-rebellion folder.

Assuming you did that correctly, perhaps you got a corrupted download. Try redownloading the latest version from the mod page and installing it to the correct path again.

Can you try downloading another mod and seeing if you have the same error? If you have the same error with multiple mods there might be a larger issue. Try all the following steps

1. Verify Sins of a Solar Empire files and then apply the LAA patch again.
If that does not work

2. Redownload the mod and try again.
If this fails

3. Download a different mod and see if you have the same error.
If you have the same error we can try some different soulutions.

Here is a helpful tutorial for installing Star Trek Armada 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hquH8iZXik

Thx I did redownload themod and re install. The path that the "mod path" button says is 1.85 dev. Which is the only one that worked I tried them all. There are at least 25 errors that come up and I can either "brreak" or "skip". When in game the freezing is the pop up errors that can only be seen if I minimize the game. And the errors come up while the game is starting up as well. the mod will run but only for a short time. I did the LAA many times. Assuming that it the patch that aloows more memory to be used. I believe I verified the files as well. I also deleted all the game content and redownloaded it. for a fresh install.I will try agin soon.I tried all these things you mention for hours and got prertty fed up. I may try again.

The LAA is included in the game now, I haven't installed it seperately and STA3 runs sweet as a nut.

Typically, people install the mod one level deeper than they should. The 1.85 dev errors are normal for that mod - don't use that exe.

I assume you mean that you're using the 1.85 dev executable? That might be the problem. Where do you have the mod installed now, what is the mod path?
