Weekly Challenge... are the high scores cheatboxes?

Have gone through this weeks Bronze challenge (Week #46 2024) 10 times now and every which way combination, have not made it past lower 3rd score page. With that I give up.
There seems to be zero help pages for advanced play here on steam or YT.
Looking at the top score page that are just under 50,000 makes me wonder if cheats codes are being used on the weekly challenges. If so do I download 3rd party console game file hack to get a high score page listing?
Will only play again if some tips are offered.

Start by deciding which path you want to take through the alien bases. Assign one officer, one minigun, and buy one extra marine from the start. Jump the minigun to the first base. When the officer power up the minigun when the base falls, jump the minigun to the next base. Hope this will help a bit.

Ok will give the officer + minigun a try, maybe lots of miniguns?
I always have trouble with the spitter towers and lose lots of units
