Can someone tell me whether this game is safe to run please?
I just purchased it off a notable cheap game website and it was then sent via an auto-gift

Sounds like yet another Norton over-reaction. It is showing a "favourable" rating in that screenie.
Most firewalls are default configured to show a similar warning popup for executables downloaded via the internet [as does windows], so if it came from a reputable source it should be fine.

If you are worried it may have a virus, google Malwarebytes anti-malware, and use that [free version] to scan the file as a peace-of-mind double-check.

I think that if the game was a secret virus, someone would have said something over the last (checks) 7 years.
