What is castle crashers remastered?

I have not bought the game yet but i have seen videos of people talking about a “castle crashers remastered” where the dlc characters are free and i cannot find it here on steam. I also can’t find much on youtube. Can someone with knowledge on this tell me what castle crashers remastered is. If you can then thanks and have a good day, if you can’t then still have a good day.

For a little more info it was the 2.0 update in October 2015: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/204360/view/2922229425713411241?l=english
Basically it added higher resolution textures for PC and a new minigame.
