so we that unlocked characters in the past needs to pay to unlock them now?
i had almost all characters unlocked and now it seems a few is behind paywallcorrect me if im wrong
p.s i wont pay for characters i alredy spent hours unlocking alredy.

Only if you purchased the (at the time) paid DLC packs. i.e. Starstorm and Overdrive. I never bought over drive before so i loss access to my favorite boi Chucho 😭

If you bought dlc then you get the characters, its literally the same as the legacy/beta option we've had for a while. If you played for free and unlocked them for free there's no way they can compensate that because Steam doesn't see any license activations on your account.
