Insane degree of entitlement.
either way when it comes back ill be seeing yall in there. Atari's revenge
So not only is no one forcing you anywhere, there's 0 things to talk about about Awesomenauts, when the devs are ready you're likely to see announcements. Besides, why should anyone have 'the balls' to talk to the community when it's possible that the project might not ever live?
It's negligence in your eyes because you're entitled, it's not in mine because at this point Awesomenauts is 15 years old and died due to not having enough financial backing. Ultimately the 'community' they are not talking to is responsible for Awesomenauts' deaths because folks wouldn't open up their wallets every once in a while.
Lol, I'm sure Atari will see this AVSManfred acting like a child over a 15 year old game and grow 'balls' to use 'proper' communication channels.
0 news ? so like you telling me that them being tken off guad by servers shutdown, to then struggle with trying to bring them back to eventually succeding is like no news worth sharign with audience of the game they;re tryign to basically revive at this point ? have you lie even read what was goign on in forums for past year here or something ? All of these are kind of info that would make for rather serious news if they treated this games community seriously yet instead it's players watchign streams who have to report thsi stuff to others who becoem the source of news, this is bad look for them
There's literally nothing to talk about other than 'it might be revived one day'.
You need serious marketing to revive Awesomenauts and a proper re-release otherwise the game will die in a few weeks again.
Again, there's nothing relevant to be shared with the community, something's in the works but it's possible that it'll never come to pass anyway.
ATARI is a literal shell of it's former self nowadays and Awesomenauts coming back is a literal pipe dream. There's nothing to talk about. Yes, they might mention a thing or two on podcast but there's a reason not to go public with that information - it might be incorrect in the future.
Also what community? Awesomenauts has literally been dying for the last 5 years prior to it getting shut down. There is no community, there's a couple dozen players who even knew about the game at the time.
If there was nothing to talk about then why the discussion section seems quite lively despite seemingly no news ? if there is No community then why we have full on community tournaments still organised ? maybe think before you write crap like this ?
Like i get it Atari rn figuring out how to bring this game back online to be playeble, so no new content but status updates tend to be as important of a news for game as content updates, and even if they don't end up correct then claryfying situation in next update is part of the proccess, you know soemthing called "communication", and not like they need to make big public announcemnts, most games have their onw dedicated news channel in steams system for a reason so it gonna reach ppl who have this game in their library ao basically really to the majority of ppl that do care about it
And really i kinda find thsi practicce of like limited communication with coommunity in general, cuz this is not only game i played, studio behind does so and i just feel like we shouldn't ignore it and just let it become new standard
And it's about as lively as a rural furneral here.
As for the rest of your comment, again it just boils down to if there's anything relevant to be said it'll likely be said, have patience.
Also i'm tryign to be patient but fact we learnt of relevant things like Romino bankrupcy, Atari buying them out, and the servers shutdown trough ppl who had to actively seek these informations and post them here on forums, and like i just really hope once servers are back up it will be break in this radio silence from the dev side but really the amount of it we had to deal with already was frustrating
