I don't know for Xbox and Playstation.
Usually around 300 players online.
Avoid this game. It is dead now. It is not fun
In Rocket League all the players connect to a single server. The ping displayed is the ping between you and the server. In Awesomenauts all the players are connected to everyone (but without server). The ping displayed is a kind of average but i'm not sure of its exact significance.
This is all well and good, until you end up playing with people from Australia, Japan, and Brazil in the the same match!
It actually shows two ping numbers, one is the average for that player, the other is your ping to the specific player that your looking at.
If your dealing with 150+ its mostly fine, but once it gets over 200 it's just bad. I like to start a match by checking the enemy nauts, and their ping. If the ping is high you've got to play differently to be effective.
Sorry for the off topic.
I still sit for up to 12 minutes in Australia tryna play this game because its so good. Just wish they'd actually get servers so that lag isn't providing me with 6/7 deaths. pls Ronimo <3
