Can't move camera

Cannot move the camera while using a 360 controller. Anyone know what's wrong?

Howdy!

Try moving your mouse a little bit once the game starts, and let me know if that fixes it. I noticed this happened to me last week at pax while demoing the game, but thought it was related to the hardware we were using.

If that works, I'll try and get a fix for it into our first patch.

No patch yet? I'm using Logitech Rumblepad controller. Cannot move the camera right and left can only do up and down. Please help.

Yees! work 4 me! great, i was playing the game on XP and don t have any proble but when i install on Seven "i can t move my camera(right stick)" the mouse trick work well...

this is a really lovely and beautifull game, visuals, sound, i really enjoy.

Same here. Logitech gamepad, cant move camera right or left.

Why are there no options to set buttons for a gamepad if this game supports gamepads?

I also have the left/right camera problem with a Speedlink USB controller. Would love a solution as I can't play the game without the controller.

I also am having difficulty with my logitech cordless rumblepad 2. As with others, I cannot move camera left or right with right stick. Tried using xbox360ce to emulate an xbox controller, but the game did not see those files.

Similar problem with a Gamestop 360 Controller. The camera is stuck to the right. I can move it to the left but it always whips back to the right on it's own, making game play difficult to impossible at times. I haven't found a way to re-calibrate the controller in-game, and I don't have this problem in other games.

The only other game I have had this problem in was portal. In that I had to go into the ingame console and type 'cl_mouselook 0' which turned off the mouse controlling where I was looking. I suspect that Snapshoot has the same problem, but I can't find a way of turning the mouse off here. Wish the dev would fix, there are plenty of us here with this problem,

I finaly fixed this problem by using JoyToKey (search for it.) Remember to turn off the controller in the snapshot config menu.

It mostly plays fine, although it is going to be hard to get the speed times - but apparently they are hard anyway and would never be easy with a controller.
