Kill flash removal.

Does anyone know the mod or which files I can alter via OPENIV to get rid of the flashing screen when I kill an enemy? I know there's an option to remove the kill effects, but the flash stays anyway. I find it a lot more compelling not exactly knowing whether or not the guy I've just shot is dead or not, especially considering the awesome animations that MP3 has.

I'm also interested in this - animations and wound graphics are very cool, and game really doesn't take full advantage of those by telling you when to stop shooting people.
