[Solved] Windows 10 & DirectX 11 ?
Hi there !

Anyone can play in Direct X 11 on Windows 10 ?

Try compatibility mods but that's don't working. This game launch and run properly with Windows 10 only with XP SP3 compatibility mod so the game run in DirectX 9.

The Fix with the command line -adapter 1 -dx11 but the game crash at the new game launch.

Anyone can run it on DirectX 11 or it is just impossible ??

Already seen this problem in other topics but I haven't this problem!
Works just fine without any compatibility in dx11 by default mode.
Windows 10 1903 x64
Maybe drivers matter!?? I'm using 436.30

I don't have any issues, it runs fine. I have Windows 10 and DirectX 11. I have a FX 8350 and a R7 370.

Problem fixed by the Rockstar support.
On Windows 10 with RTX 20XX, just run a sfc /scannow in the Windows Powershell to fixed & repaired the System files.

Any status on this issue? sfc didn't help. Nonetheless I'm not too hopeful since some effects, which work well with DX9, are apparently broken on any other version. Then again, tessellation is a considerable loss in my opinion.

It's also a problem in L.A. Noire; only DX9 works. Haven't tested it nor MP3 yet but I expect performance problems in both games...

For me what was helping is giving admin rights to the application and exiting from "Sonic Studio 2" sound control application. Now I am playing DX11 without any issues.

This! had the issue with Windows 10 - RTX 3060 + DX11 in 5.1-surround. When using DirectX 10.1 and stereo, there weren't any issues. After the scan - run powershell as admin - it works fine in surround and DX11 in the cutscenes, but not everytime. Reason unknown. But better 80 % than 0 :) thanks.

Here with Windows 11 & RTX 3060. The game freezes everytime during cutscenes. Tried everything from SFC, DX10, drivers reinstall. Also the game doesnt even launch using Directx 9.
