@furnace1954 What kind of fallacy is people can't complain because I don't deem that as a large sum of money. All that shows to me is that you've either been given everything to you in life or you don't value your money. It also has nothing to do with "self-entitlement", but rather not wanting to be taken advantage of. Also not one is asking them to release it for free; just for them not to release dlc at ludicrously high prices, that is just as expensive as games like SKYRIM on steam.

@Robert The Bruce. Whether or not the price is high is subjective relative to the enjoyment and hours of play you get out of it. If I buy a game for £40.00 and get 40 hours of play out of it, I personally find £1 per hour is good value considering i can spend more on a night out for a few hours. I have all the dlc for ck2 but most was bought on sale and I estimate I have maybe £115 in the game with the M&M dlc that I have just picked up. I have around 180 hours play time so as things stand the game is costing me £0.63 per hour so far. The new dlc has peaked my renewed interest in the game and I will play at least another playthrough which will be another 40 hours or so at least which will bring down the cost to £0.52 per hr. I consider that great value for money as an overall package.

@Robert The Bruce I am not aware obviously of the monetary investment you personally have in the game but considering the hours you have invested in the game I strongly suspect the cost per hour is far better than mine so I really cannot see what your beef is. Paradox have created a product that has given you many, many hours of enjoyment. That must be the case for you to have played it so much. With that many hours in a product, the least you can do is support the devs who created something you love so much.

@Robert The Bruce. And if you want to talk about getting ripped off for a game, I'll introduce you to a friend of mine who bought the Order 1886 for ps4 when it came out. £49.99 paid for an interactive movie that is labled as a game and completed in 6 hours with zero replay value. Thats a whopping £8.33 per hour of play that wasn't even fun.

@Pliston I agree with you to some extent, but I'd consider what you said to be more negative than positive genuinely speaking. If you have to play something off as trivial as purchasing a game as an investment and that you need to justify playing that game for hours at end to justify you paying for it's cost. - then isn't there something inherently wrong with that? The fact that you feel like you need to get your "moneys worth" seems wrong to me. Also this isn't games we're talking about, it's DLC. Also I've stated many times I don't hate ck2 nor the dlc, I just think it's too over-priced for my liking, and it's actual content of the dlc doesn't warrant its cost.

@Robert The Bruce. But purchasing a game is an investment. Gaming is another form of entertainment much like watching a movie. I didn't however notch up 180 hours to get my monies worth. I enjoyed the game enough to play for those hours. I haven't played in a while and the new dlc has renewed my interest enough to play again. If I play another playthrough, I will definately get my £10.99 worth out of the new content. The content may be on the pricey side but it opens the rpg elements to a point that makes it much more fun. My opinion for what it's worth. This game has a level of depth that few games match with endless replayability potential but I'm a noob compared to you so I guess i'm teaching my granny how to suck eggs.

Bottom line. If I was stranded on a desert island with a gaming laptop and a choice of one game, CK2 would without doubt be a contender purely because of it's replayability.

You're going entirely off-topic. This is about the dlc being over-priced. No one is disputing that ck2 isn't a good game and it has little replayability. If you feel like you get your money's worth then good for you, we're talking about the DLC, not the game.

I have not left the topic at all. If you picked up the DLC and completed one playthrough then it has paid for itself. Furthermore, I stand by my earlier point. With 1125 hours in, you should purchace the dlc as a thank you to the devs who created a game that blew you away sufficiently to sink that much time into a game. I bought Blood And Wine dlc for Witcher 3 purely to support the devs for the amazing base game that they created and didnt play it for 2 months due to playing other games. the quality of their work merrited it. CK2 is a great game that merrits it also if it is your thing and in your case it obviousely is

I got Monks & Mystics but, when I looked at my bank account tonight, I saw that I had been charged twice for it. I can't tell on this site how I contact customer service to report this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
