Nicknames still bothering me lol.

Is there a possible way to change or even get rid of a characters nickname? I tried the console cheats after my king was named "the Cruel" for the nth time, but no such luck.

You can open up the save file look for your char id number which should tell you at top of file. Once at your char section remove the nick id from nick field.

You can change the nickname in-game by pressing the ~ key and then typing: charinfo 1

Then hover your mouse over your character and find the character ID (eg. 56439).

After finding the charID type: nickname <nick_[insert nickname, eg. the_conqueror]> <charID>

So in summary, let's say I want to change my character Fred's nickname to "the Great". I use is charID (56439) to change it by typing: nickname nick_the_great 56439

I hope that helps becuase it's a lot easier than going through the save file without notepad++.
