If you mean Muslim rulers have an easier time conquering than Christian Rulers, it's true, but Decadence / Open Succession is a pain. I can't bring myself to "cull" my children and it always end in a bloody succession war.
The Pagans (especially Norse) are in my mind more powerful: they can holy war and conquer as much as the muslim, and their restrictions (Gavelkind, weak vs Conversion) can be overcome by reforming the faith...
In one of my game, as a Norse Emperor, one of my duke (not even the more powerful one) did a "Prepared invasion" on its own and gave me the Kingdom Aquitaine...
The decadence system now seems to be working better as I had the Sejuks go 4 years with 100%.
Not sure now think the pagans have replaced them.
Not to mention that the concept of "race" is, scientifically, invalid.
Don't get your knickers in a twist son, no one is dissing muslims. It's most likely a linguistic issue.
Ontopic, the muslims are only strong because the catholics are segmented and devided, muslim casus belli's will bring you only so far while the catholics have the potential for huge money making, a potential muslims don't really have as most of their provinces are only 3/4 holds.
and as the load up screen will tell you, everyone cares for money.
There is however, a religion called Islam, whose practitioners are called Muslims and they are quite powerful, except when they aren't.
Amphibious assault is pretty much guarantee defeat if you don't outnumber enemy 5 to 1. There is more to combat than just two stacks in the same providence. Where you attack to where matters, as well as leaders.
