Getting my wife pregnant cheat code

I am playing the Byzantine Emperor and I married the future queen of Aragon. I want to have children with her so that I may be able to vassalize her titles later on. Yet the codes don't work. Can someone show me how the codes work exactly? The characters are Alexios Komnenos and Urraca Jimena

I suggest giving her a gift and an honorary title, and then let nature take its course. The more she likes you, the more likely kids are gonna sprout.

Are you putting in too many characters? It should simply be:

pollinate X Y

x being female charID
& y male.

The pregnancy will be confirmed in the console, but your wife wont get the pregnant 'trait' for another couple of months.

There aren't that many honorary titles in the byzantine empire suitable for women, unless you try court jester, and the king and queen are madly in love already.

Basillisa Urraca of Byzantine Empire or Urraca Jimena

or Bassileus Alexios I Komnenos the Great or Alexios Komnenos?

First at all you need the ID of your character and your wife, that you're married with.
You will receive the ID with the cheat "charinfo" or "charinfo me". With the cursor about the character image, you can get then valid information about the character and you receive the character ID. With this ID, you can then apply the cheat to make your wife pregnant.

Irons first suggestion to enter debug mode doesnt work for me, 2nd does, as a 3rd alternative, try:
charinfo 1

"charinfo me" works for me.

been having trouble getting the wife pregnant as Byzantine Emperor as well...wonder if it is a Byzantine problem?

but with the pollinate code, the wife is pregnant. kinda like in-vitro fertilization haha!

A little rant before i answer your question and else :
The next time you have such question please don't bump 10 year old threads of when CK2 had just been out for a year. Why ? Because things change and necroing can cause all kind of annoying issues. Sorry, but had to.

Yes it works no matter where a character is or under which title.
The game neither makes a difference in regular impregnation, so your wife might get pregnant from you while leading your army at the other end of the world for two years already.

So to repeat :

pollinate <m-char-id> <f-char-id> = impregnates the female by the male

Alternatively you can use the Sketchy Cheat Menu mod and use a target decsion (dipomacy) to get a woman pregnant by you.
